Since 2009, we have been importing contemporary African Art and clothing from Nigeria to the Netherlands, Nigeria is bustling and developing, It now has the largest economy in Africa and not only the economy is thriving, so are the art literature and music scene. Nigerian writers have been recognized globally, so has Nigerian music and the painters and sculptors are now following in their footsteps.

Nigeria will surprise you with the quality of the galleries, and even in the markets young talented artists are displaying good art.

About us
Uche, the owner of this online gallery and founder of Uche African Art Foundation, is a Nigerian born lady and medical professional living and working in The Nederlands since more than 19 years.  With her passion for arts and fashion, Uche is an arts creator, fashion designer and curator giving African artists the platform in Europe to exhibit their work.


Uche Africa Art Foundation
This is a non-profit organization that aims at linking young artists in Africa and buyers in Europe to offer these young artists a better chance for using and keeping their talents. The Foundation has a board of influential persons directly or indirectly involved with art in Africa and The Netherlands. They help to constitute the foundation and bring their influence and network to bear to support the ambitions of the foundation.

Awards
Uche and UAAF are winners of The Voice Achievers Special Recognition Award in 2018, and 2019 and  the +237 Elegance Award. The foundation was inaugurated by the Nigerian ambassador to the Nederlands on 7th November 2015.
